Personal trainer and lifelong athlete, here to help you move well again — safely, and on purpose.
I was a rounded athlete before I was ever just a basketball player. Soccer, tennis, swimming, golf, Irish Gaelic football — if it involved moving, I wanted to try it. From grade 8 through grade 12, I zeroed in on basketball specifically, and it became the sport that shaped me most. These days that range has opened back up again: slowpitch, swimming, climbing, tennis, and volleyball, alongside coaching.
What changed how I think about training was losing some of that athleticism myself. A soccer injury took me out for a stretch I didn't expect, and later, years spent finishing an engineering degree pulled training further down the priority list than I ever wanted it to be. I felt, firsthand, what it's like to lose strength and movement you used to take completely for granted — and how hard it is to find your way back to it alone.
Around the same time, I was watching my younger brother train relentlessly toward an NBA career — the kind of daily, disciplined work that doesn't leave room for guessing. Watching that up close sharpened how seriously I take the actual work of getting a body back, not just the idea of it.
That's the whole point of QB Athletics. Wherever you're starting from — an old injury, pregnancy, years away from training, weight gain, or simply never having started — I help you rebuild real strength and confidence in your body, safely and on purpose. Everyone is built to move.

I have a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, and it shows up in how I coach. I actually built the platform you're using right now — the app that holds your programs, your check-ins, your progress. I built it for myself first, to solve my own problem of coaching well, and I'm still learning how to extend it to help more people the same way.
Long-term, I want to bring even more of that engineering mindset into training — including movement technology and AI — always in service of one thing: helping people train and move without fear of getting hurt, so they can finally do what they've been putting off. Ice skating. Tennis. A hike they've always wanted to take. A first 5K.
I put God first — in how I live, and in how I coach.
